I obtained my undergraduate degree in Biology from the National University of La
Plata, Argentina, and continued my studies by obtaining a Master's degree in
Biological Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. During my
masters program, I focused on evaluating the diversity of mammals from the
tropical dry forests of the Mexican Pacific and identifying priority areas for
conservation. I was honored by the National University of La Plata for my academic
performance and received an honorable mention from the National Autonomous
University of Mexico for my achievements during the master's program. I am
currently doing my PhD in Biological Sciences at the Institute of Ecology, National
Autonomous University of Mexico, under the supervision of Dr. Gerardo Ceballos.
My doctoral project aims to evaluate the spatial ecology of jaguars and its
implications for conservation by utilizing telemetry data from the Calakmul region in
Mexico. I am excited that my research will give rise to public policies directed at
preserving nature.
