Lourdes Martínez
Mexican scientist with experience in applied ecology, conservation biology and spatial conservation strategies in terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments. She has a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in the United States, and a master's degree in Environmental Biology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She has worked on various projects with endangered species such as black-tailed plains (Cynomys ludovicianus) and hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata).
