Zarah Itzel Sosa

​

Biologist graduated from FES Iztacala, UNAM. Her research has focused on the conservation of repltiles, amphibians and mammals of Mexico. She has contributed with MER analyzes for update of NOM-059-SEMARNAT-2010. Since 2020, she has collaborated with local, regional and federal institutions like the General Coordination of Ecological Conservation of the Secretary of the Environment of the State of Mexico and the National Commission of Protected Natural Areas (CONANP) of SEMARNAT.

 

Currently, she works on his master's degree on Territorial Planning and she belongs of the editorial team of the Revista Mexicana de Mammaology (Nueva Epoca); in addition, she's member of the Alianza Nacional para la Conservacion del Jaguar (ANCJ). Her interest focused on conservation projects and public policies for endangered species.
