Biologist graduated from UAM-I, he did his master's degree at the Ecology and Conservation of Wildlife laboratory in the Janos region.
He specializes in wildlife monitoring, with special emphasis on rodents and also in bat acoustics.
In his spare time he has contributed to the registration of biodiversity in the citizen science platform Naturalista, being the user with more species registered in Latin America, which includes dozens of new records and some species new to science.
He is a curator of mammals for CONABIO.
