I am a biologist and Master of Science from the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos. Currently I do my PhD in the Institute of Ecology of the UNAM, investigating the scent marking behavior of pumas (Puma concolor) and jaguars (Panthera onca). I have worked with different groups of animals, being the carnivores of my particular interest. I am passionate about the study of animals, their behavior, ecology and conservation. I am interested in the conservation of biodiversity in natural areas and within cities. During my academic and professional life, I have collaborated in national and international projects on ecology and I have obtained some awards, scholarships and recognitions from institutions such as Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation, Superior Council of Scientific Research of Spain and National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico. Working for the conservation of biodiversity is an exciting way of life for me.
